Growing with Intention: Sometimes the Most Important Part of Sales Is Asking Better Questions

Growing with Intention: Sometimes the Most Important Part of Sales Is Asking Better Questions

A meaningful morning of learning, reflection, and connection with RE/MAX Paradise in Panama. ??????????

One thing I've learned from working with real estate agents is that experience doesn't mean we stop learning.

No matter how many properties we've sold or how successful we've become, there are moments when we need to ask ourselves a simple question: Are we really growing, or are we just repeating what we already know?

Today, I had the pleasure of connecting with the agents at RE/MAX Paradise in Panama for a session called “Growing with Intention: The ABCs of Real Estate Sales.”

We talked about sales, clients, opportunities, and results. But what I really wanted to explore was something deeper: how easy it is to get so caught up in our daily routines that we lose sight of where we're going.

Real estate keeps us busy. There are calls to make, showings to schedule, clients to follow up with, negotiations to manage, and messages that never seem to stop.

But here's something worth thinking about:

Being busy doesn't always mean we're growing.

Throughout our conversation, we explored three essential ideas: activating opportunities, bringing real value to clients, and turning meaningful relationships into results.

We discussed how to become more intentional about creating business opportunities, how to stand out for more than the properties we represent, and why the trust we build is one of our greatest professional assets.

We also shared ideas for trying new approaches, strengthening client relationships, and understanding our numbers so we can make smarter decisions.

But if there's one message I hope stays with us, it's this:

Growth doesn't always require a complete transformation. Sometimes it starts with one small decision made with purpose.

For me, opportunities like this are also a reminder of why I love what I do.

Even when we work in different countries and different markets, so many of our challenges and aspirations are the same. We want to become better professionals, create lasting relationships, grow our businesses, and feel that the effort we put in every day is taking us somewhere meaningful.

That's one of the things I value most about being part of this network: the chance to connect, exchange ideas, and learn beyond our own borders.

A heartfelt thank you to RE/MAX Paradise for welcoming this conversation and to Tatiana for making this connection between Panama and El Salvador possible.

I left this session with a question that I believe applies to all of us, myself included:

What am I doing today that is genuinely bringing me closer to what I want to build tomorrow?

Because growing with intention isn't about having all the answers. It's about continuing to ask the right questions and being willing to take action.

???? Here's to sharing, learning, and continuing to grow together as a network.
